Diesel & Veggie Oil is videographer Timo Vergauwen’s intriguing travelogue about his trip in the wake of American folk band Handmade Moments. The book portrays musicians Joel Ludford and Anna Horton on their tour of the United States. As a reader, you follow them from their first performances on the roof of their ecological tour bus to ending up in the hospital after a head-on car crash.
Timo Vergauwen writes and creates images. He studied English – Theater, Film & Literature at the University of Antwerp and Audiovisual Arts at Sint-Lukas Brussels.
His debut film Busking (2020) received support from the Flemish Audiovisual Fund and premiered at the San Jose CineQuest film festival. For the European Space Agency, he organizes the short film competition ESA New Worlds.
