These name tags are a design by graphic designer Tina De Souter for artistic photographer Hanne Lamon. Lamon’s work is always very emotional and mysterious. It has something colorless and dark, and at the same time is light and hopeful. That sensation is reflected in the printing.

Dark blue paper with similar printing was chosen, so there is no contrast at first glance. Yet name tags also dig deeper. On the back, for example, the image of rippling water is printed with a dark blue holographic film, creating a subtle mirror effect.

Then again, the front of the cards is a little less dark. There, the white outline of a swimmer provides the welcome flare in the blue paper. A great example of one of the many features on our digital printing press.
