Big news, because we have equipped our machinery with the LE UV Heidelberg Speedmaster CX104-4, a full-option offset press from the “Push-to-Stop” generation that allows for faster, more efficient and more sustainable printing, resulting in sublime print quality!
The offset printing press is an investment that perfectly aligns with our vision of environmentally friendly entrepreneurship. Just like us, this printing press has a heart for the environment, which is reflected in several ways. LE UV stands for Low Energy Ultra Violet: unlike traditional UV offset presses, ink curing takes place through energy-efficient lamps with a precisely calibrated spectrum. On top of that, the use of wash-up fluid is reduced to barely 2 cl per plate, and a stand-by function ensures that only half as much electricity is needed as usual.

The LE UV technology offers many additional advantages. The ink is cured in the blink of an eye and can be finished immediately, resulting in shorter lead times and faster deliveries. Thanks to this rapid curing process, there is hardly any need for anti-set-off powder, and the risk of ink transferring onto the sheets above has completely disappeared. Because the ink doesn’t get the chance to be absorbed by the paper, the colours are much more powerful, brighter and deeper. The quality of the print work therefore increases significantly!
It’s not only the fast drying process that enables us to serve you more quickly. The LE UV press uses push-to-stop technology, which boosts productivity: it operates almost fully automatically, meaning far fewer manual actions are required. Plates, for example, are replaced, positioned and checked by the machine itself. The make-ready waste (paper loss) is reduced by nearly a factor of ten, and the press is set up and ready to print within a minute. Every hour, we can process up to 16,500 sheets — with sublime quality as a result!
