Jesse Marynen acquires mailing company DMSB

20 December 2024 /

Jesse Marynen, owner of the Mechelen-based printing company Buroform, is acquiring the Limburg-based mailing company DMSB. With the acquisition of the Genk-based company, Marynen gains direct mail expertise and a 3,000 square metre fulfilment warehouse.

“Distributing printed matter and ensuring it arrives at the right places is now an integral part of Buroform,” says owner Jesse Marynen. “With DMSB’s expertise, we have the entire process – from design to dispatch – in our own hands. This offers real added value: quick response times, seamless processes and mailings that arrive perfectly in the letterbox.”

Space for storage and distribution

According to Jesse Marynen, physical printed matter continues to make a difference in a digital world more than ever. ‘That’s why we are taking our services to the next level,’ he says. With the acquisition of DMSB, the entrepreneur gains direct mail expertise for targeted campaigns, and the company has a 3,000 square metre warehouse in Genk for storage and distribution.

“For our brand portal customers, this means that we can now respond even better to the storage and distribution of marketing and communication materials.”

“For our brand portal customers, this means that we can now respond even better to the storage and distribution of marketing and communication materials to different locations. Everything is seamlessly linked to our software so that customers have real-time insight into orders, delivery times and stocks.”

DMSB, which stands for Direkt Mail Service Buro, was founded in 1995 by Alain Hansen. ‘It was essential for me to find a successor who not only shares the same passion for direct mailing and fulfilment, but also sees the potential to grow the business further,’ says Hansen. ‘In Jesse, I have found that person. With his expertise and enthusiasm, I am convinced that DMSB is ready for a bright future.’

30 per cent growth

The entire DMSB team of seven people will remain on board. Wendy Colemont will take over day-to-day management tasks to ensure operational continuity. The new owner sees considerable growth potential in the acquisition. ‘DMSB has a strong reputation and I look forward to building on this solid foundation,’ he says.

Marynen looks back on 2024 with satisfaction. ‘We have grown organically by 11 per cent. With the acquisition of DMSB, this represents a growth of 30 per cent to a consolidated turnover of 9.1 million euro. In the next phase, we need to grow to more than 10 million euro,’ says Jesse Marynen. The printing entrepreneur still sees many opportunities in the graphics market. ‘In recent years, we have worked on strengthening the foundations of the company. For the printing plant in Mechelen, we have completed an investment of almost 400,000 euros in finishing and distribution.’
