Luxury villa builder Vlassak Verhulst recently launched their new construction project, “Laurel”. The 12 exclusive luxury apartments in the municipality of La Hulpe are the result of a collaboration with architect Marc Corbiau.

About the paper:
Fedrigoni Constellation Jade Riccio is an FSC-certified, wood-free paper with a unique pearlescent finish. The paper is embossed on one side off-machine, which means that a special texture is added after production. Various textures are available, each with a beautiful Italian name. For this project, we chose the “Riccio” texture.
Design: Bureau Blanc Located in the heart of a Natura 2000 area, “Laurel” embodies the harmony between architecture and nature. The essence of this project is captured in a beautiful hardcover book, the cover of which was printed with PMS 5535U (forest green). The green colour and wild texture of the paper symbolise the lush greenery of La Hulpe, while the use of Arena Smooth paper in the interior ensures razor-sharp images.
Challenge How can we elegantly bundle the book and the real estate plans? The answer to this is the matching presentation box or presentation folder. The folder was made from sturdy grey cardboard and covered with the same paper as the book cover. The folder was fitted with an invisible magnetic closure that was concealed under the paper.
Advantage of LE-UV ink curing Thanks to LE-UV drying, we were able to print directly onto the chosen material without first applying an extra coating, which would have compromised the texture and appearance.
