On 23 March, the very first edition of Ken je Buur (Know your Neighbour) took place at Buroform. With an impressive printing press as a stage, local entrepreneurs came together to get to know each other, share knowledge and discover new collaborations. The evening was kicked off with a warm welcome and a powerful five-minute opening speech by Penelope Kallergis (Quares), Jesse Marynen (Buroform) and Stefaan Van Thielen (vzw IMN). They summed up who we are: not a dusty printing company, but a creative hotspot where print comes to life and networking takes centre stage.
After the kick-off, ten leading companies took to the stage to tell their stories. From facility management to logistics services and creative productions, it was a varied and inspiring series of pitches.
After the presentations, we gave an exclusive tour of our printing facility. We shared our expertise on innovative printing techniques, the power of personalisation and the unique value that print can offer compared to digital communication. Participants were given a unique insight into the capacity, quality and service that Buroform delivers every day.
The tour was followed by a convivial networking reception where entrepreneurs could meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere. As a thank you for attending, all participants received a personalised gift: a customised goodie box with a notebook, personalised with their name. A lasting reminder of a successful evening!
