For its 40th anniversary, Cultuurcentrum Lokeren wanted to go all out with a striking, festive seasonal brochure. Graphic design agency Bloudruk translated the anniversary theme “ruby” into a visual concept with abstract stone structures and colour fields, in which the ruby red hue forms a common thread.
The brochure was printed by Buroform in LE-UV offset on single-sided sulphate cardboard 250 g/m² (cover) and white offset paper 120 g/m² (inside). The cover was matt laminated and finished with UV spot varnish on specific elements for a subtle gloss effect. The binding is threadless glued for a sleek result.
A strong example of cultural communication in print format, with tactility and symbolism at its heart.
