Network cards on Stone Paper

Sustainable printing, printing network cards that can easily withstand water, wind and folding.

Anyone walking or cycling in East Flanders can now do so with a map that can really take a beating. Buroform developed network maps on Stone Paper for Tourism East Flanders: a tree-free material made from ground stone waste.

These maps are waterproof, tear-resistant and durable – perfect for intensive use in nature. What’s more, they fold open and close smoothly, without stiffness or tear lines. This makes them ideal for the back pocket of any walker or cyclist.

Stone Paper contains no wood fibres and no water in the production process, making it an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional synthetic or plasticised paper. These maps are proof that functionality and ecology can go hand in hand in modern printing.

Stone Paper

The name says it all: Stone Paper is paper made from ground stone waste instead of wood fibres. It is therefore a completely tree-free material that offers an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional paper. The advantage is that this paper does not absorb a single drop of water and therefore remains tear and impact resistant even under water. It would take some effort to damage these cards.
