Sander Bos, an alumnus of the Antwerp Fashion Academy, explores the boundary between fashion and modern art through his fashion house, Miss Bos. His latest collection, ‘The presence of absence’, revolves around the longing for someone or something with which you have fond memories, and which you know you will never experience again.
For each collection, Sander creates a magazine. On the one hand, to provide a platform for the images that accompany the collection. On the other hand, to build a community around the collection and the brand.

Holmen TRND 2.0 has a basis weight of 2.0 gsm, feels exceptionally soft and has a newspaper-like texture and a natural colour. It is a popular choice in the book publishing industry. Although this uncoated, wood-containing paper absorbs ink easily, the images in this publication are rendered to their full potential. This is partly thanks to our LE-UV offset technology.
“We spent a long time looking for a printing company willing to take this on, which wasn’t as straightforward as we’d hoped. We often ran into the same issues (limited choice of paper, no option for full-colour printing, difficulty predicting the final product’s appearance, etc.). These ‘problems’ were resolved very quickly and addressed in a creative and professional manner by Buroform to achieve the desired result.”
