In honour of BRAFA 2025, the prestigious Antwerp art fair that brings together collectors from all over the world, gallery owner Samuel Vanhoegaerden presented a special selection of James Ensor works. This year’s focus was on twelve rare drawings from La Gamme d’Amour (Flirt de Marionnettes), an intriguing ballet composition in which Ensor effortlessly blends image and music.
The exhibition is accompanied by a brand-new monograph, published in collaboration with Ensor expert Xavier Tricot – a publication that is at once a book, an art object and a collector’s item.
